C D Golden, also known as ETO (Extra Talent Only), is an electrifying musical artist making waves with his unique Progressive Pop-Funk sound and the band “ETO Live!” 

 

Infused with positive energy, his diverse mix of Jazz Pop, Rock-Funk, Hip-Hop, Jazz Fusion, and Orchestral styles draws inspiration from legends like Stevie Wonder, Prince, Genesis, Chaka Khan, Missing Persons, Jeff Beck, Chevelle, and the remarkable Frank Zappa, a fellow  Baltimorian.

 

ETO’s lyrics are profound, spiritual, and thought-provoking, reflecting his gifts as lyricist and storyteller. The messages in his music, encourages others to pursue their dreams despite the Hell, we all face.

 

C D Golden’s musical path is truly inspiring, shaped by the incredible talents of his father, Ledgendary gospel, singer Kermit Golden of the Baltimore Travelers, and his talented mother, musician and poet Margaret Bernadine Bailey.

 

From an early age, he immersed himself in music, performing in church with his siblings and alongside his father’s gospel group, live venues throughout the cool city of Baltimore.

 

ETO’s talent emerged at Frederick Douglass High School, where heled as lead percussionist and earned a place in the esteemed John Peabody Conservatory’s Preparation Percussionist Department, garnering multiple accolades. His journey led him to the prestigious Berklee School of Music in Boston and ultimately to Los Angeles, where he collaborated with his aunt, Karolyn Ali, producer for the iconic Tupac.

 

Developing his skills as a writer, producer, composer, and performer while touring various productions in then west, he returned to the East Coast to launch EtO Productions.
